Sensei Dacey has trained in Shotokan Karate-Do for over 25 years.  He has studied under Master Linc Martin in Providence, and has also trained with Jody Gibson at the Shotokan Dojo in Newport, RI under the guidance of Instructors from Bologna Italy. Sensei is also certified by the International RyuKyuKai Karate Association under Hanshi Robert Handley in Wilmington, DE.   Sensei is employed by the Care New England Health System and holds his BS in Business Administration and MBA from the University of R.I.                                                                                      
Message from Sensei Dacey
Welcome to Coventry Shotokan Karate Club!  We welcome all children & adults ages seven and up to train at our dojo.  We practice traditional Shotokan Karate-Do, which is a Japanese martial art.  Please feel free to drop by anytime to observe a class.  We also welcome new students to take part in classes for one week at no charge to see if they enjoy the lessons.

Sensei Chatterley began his martial arts training in Tae Kwon-Do as a young child, and later began his training in Shotokan Karate-Do under Kyoshi Dacey. Sensei has over 15 years training in the martial arts, and recently earned his Sandan ranking from Kyoshi Dacey. His current training includes Shotokan and ju-jitsu.

Connor began training in Shotokan Karate in 1999, and he has trained in Shotokan Karate for the past fourteen years. Connor recently graduated from LaSalle Academy and is enrolled at the University of RI as an Engineering major.  Connor has been a great role model for the children in the club. Connor teaches the Monday night Beginner adult class.

Ciana began her training in Shotokan in 2008 under Kyoshi Dacey.  She is one of the original CSKC students and recently earned her Shodan-ho in Shotokan Karate-Do after six years of dedicated training.

Sensei Geoff Krauss

Geoff began his martial arts training in September, 1956.  He began Shoto-kan training on 11-11-1957 (original JKA member 47US57). Sensei has trained in a number of Japanese, Okinawan, Korean and Chinese empty-hand and  weapons styles.  He is presently a Yon- dan Black Belt in 2 styles of  Shotokan Karate-do, Sho-dan in Uechi-ryu Pangai-noon and an Ohbumnim (Sr. Master) in Tang Soo Do-Mu Duk Kwan, a Korean form of Karate.

Agustin "Boboy" Patricio started his training in Shotokan Karate with the Association for the Advancement of Karate-Do (AAK) at the University of the Philippines. He obtained his black belt in 1985 and taught karate-do in various colleges and clubs. Sensei is also affiliated with Karate Development Arts & Sports (KDA)

Charlotte trained in Shotokan Karate in NYC for ten years prior to relocating to RI, and  joining CSKC in 2010.  Charlotte earned her Shodan from Kyoshi Dacey in 2012.  She has recently opened her own karate dojo and kickboxing studio in E.Greenwich, R.I.
